Decorative wall art of butterflies on a moss green wall above a wooden console table.

The bug fixation became a collection

This spring collection started with a small obsession: insects, and how fascinating they are when you actually stop and look. The forms, the patterns, their quiet determination, just getting on with things. That’s the thread running through these pieces — the perfect little miracle of life, buzzing around minding its business.

Three circular saw blade art pieces depicting nature scenes on a wall above a wooden console table.

A little country. A little history. Not trying to be precious about it.

Country State of Mind is on the way — landscape oil paintings on saw blades and wood slices, with smaller giftable pieces for the person who is weirdly hard to buy for and definitely does not need another flannel shirt.

Old marks, fresh paint, open sky, tree lines — the kind of thing that makes a hallway stop looking like a pass-through.

Hi. We’re Chris + Anna.

We met at the original Joy of Painting studio and thought we were just learning how to paint trees. Turns out, we were rerouting our entire lives in the best, most terrifying way.

Now we paint. A lot. Peaceful landscapes for busy minds — art that makes your room feel quieter (even if your life isn’t).

Because you can’t always be on vacation.

But you can live with calm on your walls.
